At Smart Gadget Co, we want you to feel confident with every purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help resolve it quickly and fairly.
Returns Eligibility
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order if:
- The item is unused and in its original condition and packaging
- The item arrived damaged or defective
- You received an incorrect item
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Gift cards
- Personalised or custom products (unless faulty or damaged)
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, we recommend placing a new order once your return has been approved.
How to Start a Return
To request a return, please contact our support team with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos (if applicable for damaged or incorrect items)
Our team will review your request and provide return instructions if approved.
Return Shipping
- If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover return shipping costs
- For all other approved returns, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- You will be notified of the outcome
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
Please note:
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as expected.
